Peter Underwood is a PhD student at Bath Spa University, researching the impacts of power structures on the musical practices of the Military Wives Choirs. His other research interests include Japanese music and fan culture, music and religion, and ludomusicology. Peter is also Co-Chair of the Ethnomusicology Reading Group, a community of more than 180 ethnomusicologists whose members regularly meet online to discuss a wide variety of work in the discipline.
