Dr Stina Homer
Dr Stina Homer is Associate Lecturer at the Open University, where she specialises in music but teaches several subjects across the arts and humanities. She is also a visiting tutor at the University of Aberdeen, and she researches ethnomusicology in museums at the National Museum of Scotland’s Department of World Cultures. Her PhD (Bangor University, 2020) was funded by an AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Award, working with Storiel Museum. It centred on a collection of ancient Mexican musical instruments. Her master’s degree in ethnomusicology is from the University of Manchester, and her undergraduate degree was awarded by Dartington College of Arts.
